This recipe makes for four servings ...
Material:
- 1 cup dried red beans, soak overnight until it expands - 1 cup
- 500 ml of water
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 block of brown sugar, fine comb
- 3 segments of cinnamon fingers
- ¼ tsp salt
- Coconut Sauce Material:
- 250 ml of coconut milk
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolve with a little water
- 2 pieces of pandan leaves, tie
- Shaved ice to taste
- Adequate sweetened condensed milk
- Red syrup or cocopandan to taste
How to make:
- Drain and wash the soaked beans.
- Put the beans in a pan and add cinnamon. Cook until soft red beans;
- Add brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Mix well and cook again until the sauce thickens;
- Pour the cornstarch solution. Mix well and cook until the sauce boils and thickens. Turn off the heat and let it cool down;
- Coconut sauce: mix all the ingredients of coconut milk sauce, cook over low heat while stirring, lift and cool;
- Prepare the glass and then add 2 tablespoons of red beans. Pour according to taste: coconut milk sauce, shaved ice, syrup, and sweetened condensed milk;
- Red bean ice is ready to be served.
